I may receive an error with error code 19 in the device manager of my Windows XP Professional. The error message that occurs may appear as below: "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. To fix this problem you can first try running a Troubleshooting Wizard. If that does not work, you should uninstall and then reinstall the hardware device. (Code19)"
Can you help me?

Hi zak, The major reason behind this error is some technical problem with the Windows registry.
This issue can be resolved by troubleshooting the Windows registry. Follow the below given steps:
Step I: Uninstall and reinstall the driver
1) Open Device Manager
2) Uninstall the driver
3) Scan for new hardware and install the driver again
Step II: Recover Registry
Follow the following steps for recovering your registry:
1) Restart your computer
2) Open Device Manager
3) Click Action and then Scan
4) Find the most recent successful registry configuration
5) Restore the registry information and driver settings
I hope you are fully satisfied after reading my answer.
