Default Going by your terms: Bodhidharma is a teluguite..

Just being born in TamilNadu doesnt make someone Tamilian. BodhiDharma was a pallava King and Pallava Dynasty itself is from Andhra. Hence he is a Telugu, coz Telugu seperated from Proto=Dravidian language during 1200BC, thus making it alien to Tamil long long ago (Tolkappiyam itself says, ppl residing north of Thiruvengadam speak alien tongues).
    During ancient times, the
land was ruled by whoever conquers it. since an Andhra dynasty conquered Kanchi, it ruled it. Dont go by the modern boundaries of the current states. In that case, mind that Cheras are of Kerala origin, since Cheras resided in current region.

Too much obessession isnt good for health....

apart from language I appreciate and support what ever blunders committed in the film 7th sense, while I would like to question all the critics why our history education skipped the legend bodhidharma ....

when they could not find the answer its better they join the crowd in appreciating the film....

While,One has to admit history should never be a product of fantasy, this movie has inspired at least 50% of India's population educating Bodhidharmas origin (india) and proceeding towards a research around the world which I believe revival of bodhidharma's true history is not far off..

Default Bodhidharma Tamil or Not? Reply Continue

    Hello there,

First of I would like to answer the question
Which is the Title of the topic itself, is Bodhidharma Tamil or not?
What is the matter about it now after many years, even that
great Master himself never bothered & he travelled to China for Selfless
Mission. Now after thousands of years later why this query huh?! One
never even bothers about Historical facts until something shows up.
Second thing is, why did Telugu or Andhra never come out on it's own
Before the movie was created, as Bodhidharma is as what you think?!
After when a movie highlighted a fact, then comes the objection out
of nowhere. Thirdly The China history knows about the Master Alot, than
We Indians do, they have ample proofs in their safekeeping of Bodhidharma's
History & ending, more ever the Film crew stayed at the Shaolin Temple
& the important places to gather information & study about the Master.
It's not easy to create a film about someone great... So

Too much confrontation is not Healthy
    Thank You
