Thumbs up The winning moment in Indian Democracy...

16th May 2014...A new dawn in the Indian Democracy...After decades India sees a political party, the Bharathiya Janata, winning the Parliamentary Elections with a thumping majority. Hence the Nation is awaiting a Coalition free Government and pins great hopes on the newly elected Government. Since 1984, this is the first time that a National Party wins with a clear majority.

We had a President who was a newspaper boy in his childhood, a brilliant student in his youth, a great scientist and researcher who finally rose to the highest office in the Indian Democracy winning the admiration and affection of all Indians at home and abroad alike.

Now it is the winning moment of the Gujarat Chief Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi who comes from a humble family and who was a tea vendor in his childhood. After facing several criticisms from his opponents, overcoming obstacles like being denied a Visa to go abroad, opposed by some of his own party members during the nomination for the PM post, Mr. Modi seemed to be determined to keep moving ahead and focus his entire attention on his winning the elections. He traveled the entire length and breadth of the country, visited every nook and corner and created a magical rapport with the people he met in his rallies. The result is THE WINNING MOMENT. Now those who opposed him will begin to make a move to join him and countries which denied him a visa have already begun to congratulate him and look forward to working with him.

The victory of the BJP is mainly because of the people's despair and anger over the corruption and non performance of the Congress Government at the center especially in the later five years of their decade old rule from 2004. But this does not rule out the hard work and efforts by the Prime Ministerial Candidate, Mr. Modi in any way. His grit and intelligence, his oratory skills, his performance as a Chief Minister since 2001, and his promises to develop the Nation during his tenure as the Prime Minister have all made the common man to vote for his party.

The Congress has lost dismally and now needs to introspect and mend its failures if at all it desires to make a better come back in future.

The Aam Aadmi Party which was becoming popular and even managed to capture Delhi in the Assembly elections failed miserably in the Parliamentary elections. People lost their hopes when Arvind Kejriwal resigned from the post of Chief Minister and chose to stand in the General Elections. He and his party made many foolish mistakes and there was a controversy every day in their 49 day old Delhi rule.

The whole Nation looks forward to an India which is economically and socially developed, free of graft and corruption.

Let us hope for the best in the years to come and congratulate and wish Mr. Modi and his team all the very best so that they do their best for the welfare of all Indians at home and abroad in every sphere of their lives...Keep up your promises Mr. Modi and take our Nation to greater heights...

It's amazing and very encouraging for our country! I do not really care if it's Modi and Rahul, but simple majority will help the ruling party to govern without unreasonable pressure from people like Jayalalitha or Karuna. Indeed a new beginning for India!!
